Sandra, I am so upset by your story of the neuro and his heartless comment. I can only imagine how you must feel. Especially when you are so anxious to get in for an appt, are fortunate enough to be squeezed in...you think you might get some answers and then he comes out with a doozie like that. Awful!!!

Did he acknowledge that your voice was different/odd? You said he got to hear it, did he comment on it at all?

I say get a new doc, but who am I to advise, I have withdrawn from all of mine.

He did say I hear the difference but seemed to dismiss it. I am going to get a new doctor but have know idea who. Mobile does not have an abundance of experienced good neuros. I may go to Birm to see one of them if I can get in. Does anyone know of someone Doc that will be or at least act concerned and knowledgble?
