Genetic ALS??? HElP

My Uncle Duane was diagnosed with Als two years ago and passed away last april. It has been a struggle for the family. With the passing of my uncle, the family has been coping well to say the least. My problem now is that Duane's brother is showing the same exact early symtoms of Als. He is losing muscle mass in his hand and having numbness throughout his arm. He has no medical insurance and has no money to visit the doctor. I was wondering if anyone out ther had any suggestions on what my family should do about this. Any advice at all would help.

Please contact the ALS Aossociation and talk to them about the situation. I believe this is the chapter nearest your location. At the very least they may be able to give advice on how to proceed with getting him dxd.

Also, the MDA payed for a visit to the ALS Clinic when my husband had no insurance.
