question for people who have been diagnosed with als

Did you ever take castor oil as a child or an adult? I read an article that there may be a link. I'm worried cause my mom gave me castor oil when I was a kid.

I am sorry but I could not leave this link in. This is just too much to swallow. Now we have had just about everything imaginable being blamed for causing ALS.

Geez, I used a lot of Preparation H in my thirties. Do you think my ALS could be caused by that? It started in my legs which are attached to my butt which is where I stuffed it. Good play on words Joel. I had to put my 2 silly cents in too. You guys have to be kidding with this stuff, right?

Un-freakin-believable! :shock: I'm speechless, which is probably a good thing, because I don't think I'd have very nice things to say. Whenever I see the words "I read somewhere" in a post, I know it's going to be completely downhill thereafter.

On a better note: Joel and Al, I hope things are going relatively well for you guys.

I have a list of things people have suggested have caused my ALS, including vaccinations, air pollution, water pollution, stress, past chemotherapy, dental fillings, nutritional deficiencies, too much meat and dairy, God, karma...

Nope, never ingested castor oil.

Yeah, I know its sounds crazy guys, but as crazy as it sounds SOMETHING caused ALS. A lot of these things are really far fetched but agian something DID cause it! Will we ever know? I hope!
