the only thing to tell you is that you wont get an answer untill you are slurring or having problems with swallowing. Those dents dont mean anything if you can talk and eat/swallow and clean emg. I have that ragged tongue on the left side, 3 or 4 little dents. I showed my
als specialist and she was not concerned and said it was maybe just teeth marks. My tongue does press up against my teeth alot. I told myself not to worry about these marks or twitching unless I start choking on liquids or slurring. If your tongue had real
als atrophy I would think that you would be having some difficulties in any of these area's.
