Hi again,
I'm anxiously waiting for my upcoming appointment with the ALS specialist in a few days. In the meantime, I wanted to ask the forum about a couple of symptoms that I've been experiencing and whether or not they are bulbar related or not. As some of you already know, I'm currently experiencing left arm and right arm/shoulder weakness. This all started about 7-8 weeks ago. About 2 weeks ago, I also felt shortness of breath in the morning along with a tired feeling in the throat like I've talked for hours but in actuality had not. The voice isn't weak but feels like my throat is tired after I talk for a few minutes. By the way, I can still pick up about 80 lb dumbells in each arm for about 30 seconds. Wouldn't my limbs be weaker at this point before it progresses to my throat/lungs if it were really ALS?
I'm just frustrated by all these symptoms and having gone through the neurological ringer the past two months.
