Yes, it's another internet search but I was actually searching for reasons that my symptoms could be anything BUT ALS and here is what I found for those of us with some neck pain, hyper reflexes (clonus), spasticity, numbness, even weakness and tingling:

I still have to see the neurologist. The thing is that the MRI I had didn't show anything but a little degeneration (which I was told had to do more with the fact that I am 41).
Another thing that bothers me a bit is that I do not have some of the symptoms on one list but do on the other.
Before my neuro appointment I am checking into life insurance. I haven't been able to get it up until now due to the cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure but I'm searching frantically for something before I get any kind of diagnosis. Any ideas?
