swelling?

Sometimes I get random swelling that has occurred in mainly in my hands but has occurred in my lips as well. It is odd. My hand will just suddenly swell up. I have never had this type of reaction before. Is swelling like this associated with ALS? I have what seems to be other ALS symptoms - occassional muscle twitch, occassional muscle spasms, tightness so that is why I ask. Can anyone give an opinion on swelling?

Sounds like some kind of allergic reaction. Not an ALS symptom. If you only get things occassionally who told you that you "seem" to have ALS symptoms? You don't.

have you seen a rheumey? sounds like some sort of rheumatic disease? That happens with all of those.
