Default New to Group - looking for guidance

This group is a great resource, first of all.

I am looking for a little guidance. I have had odd feelings in both feet for just about a week now. In the last 3 days I have also experienced tightness in my calves, unlike anything I have ever really felt there. I know this period of time is short. Is this how ALS can begin/progress? I'm on overdrive looking for any other symptom to emerge.

thank you -

James,

I am not discounting anything but I would really give this more than a few weeks before jumping on als.
A few years ago I had unexplained thigh pain for 3 weeks and guess what? It went away and I went on to play tennis. I also went right to the neuro looking for a reason. Try to relax and give this more time and dont think als so quickly!

take care,

april
