I posted here a couple of months ago and promised I would not post again until my EMG was performed. I just got verbal results from my doctor saying the test was normal!
He did observe the fasciculations I've been having, but said the test was otherwise normal.
I just want to thank all the people who volunteer on this board and help those of us who are scared and anxious.
I do have one final question before I leave: I know the sticky articles at the beginning of this forum cover this to some degree, but my test was done very very quickly, like in less than 5 minutes. The doctor tested my most symptomatic leg and noted the fasciculations, but said it was otherwise normal. Given that I've only experienced twitching for two months, would you say it is safe to say that this is truly a negative result and I can stop worrying? Thank you all so much, it is much appreciated.
