I posted at the beginning of January however my thread was closed which is why I have opened this thread. Since I was explaining my story in depth I already felt that my lengthy explanation was enough for people to have to get through without me attaching photos too.
However, I briefly mentioned a muscle bump on my right thigh which I’ve noticed since December and I feel it is only becoming more prominent. It is hard to capture on a photo because it is mostly to the touch that an obvious round “lump” of muscle can be felt, but I have attached photos to show how the muscle just sticks out in one particular spot and appears to have wasted away above this point as there is a hollow in my leg above it. My thigh constantly cramps and the muscles just hurt and feel so tender. When I touch this lump it is tender and remains sore afterwards. My muscles seem to be painful around that region but the lump is the ‘hotspot’ of tenderness so to speak.
I now notice on the other thigh a similar lump is beginning on the exact same muscle but it is less pronounced so appears to have started after the right leg. Is this how it happens, same muscle groups one after the other on each side of the body?
As well as this, I have severe cramps in the calf in the same leg as the bump and this is where the large majority of my fasciculations are. I don’t notice any atrophy here currently but it is the same leg so it seems connected and like the issues are concentrated to that region primarily. I do have fascs in my thighs too but notice more in the calves and they continue even with movement or flexing the muscles.
I also held my leg up only for a minute or so to take these pictures and my thigh is aching and fatigued so I sense muscle weakness.
Whether or not it is worth mentioning I don’t know, but I also noticed this hollow in my wrist which is much more noticeable than the other wrist.
I thank you kindly for taking the time to read and respond, I am very thankful to have this platform in such a fearful time.
