ALS Worries

Hello everybody,
I am a 19 year old male and about 2 weeks ago i started to feel weakness in the fingers on my left hand. This soon developed into some soreness and pain but in the last two days the pain and soreness has all seem to go away, but my left hand now seems to feel weaker than my right.

I also feel as though my left ring finger is weaker than my right, as if I'm gripping something and tey lifting up with it, it doesn seem to lift as far and causes some pain.

I know this is probably irational, and I have had some health anxiety in the past, but this feels very real.

Your symptoms and worry feel very real to you- there is no doubt. However, an ALS forum is not the place to come looking for answers.

Straight up- You know you don't have ALS. You also know online searching for symptoms dials anxiety to 11. Go see a doctor. Talk to them about your symptoms and worries. You will find zero help here.
