Hi,
For the last few months I've had a real deterioration in my health where I've felt really bad - a lot of fatigue, pins, needles in extremeties, weakness, spasms and twitching in arms and legs, buttocks - al over now. Have had EMG done - there is diminished conduction in both arms one more than the other. I have a lot of stuff going on including bladder issues - a lot of UTI's and something showing up on the scan which is still to be investigated. I have a lot of muscle wasting as shown on bone scan. Orthopedist said it was *wear and tear*. I am 59 relatively healthy my entire life except for the last few. I spend most of my time resting now because I just don't have energy.

Blood tests are somewhat normal - elevated ESR, some oddities here and there.

I've had spinal issues my entire life - but never felt like this - ever.

Does this sound like ALS?

Not remotely like any ALS I have ever heard of. Conduction issues sound like they are from the ncs portion of the test( shocks) not the EMG ( needles). These are generally done and reported together so can be confusing. Nevertheless abnormal NCS points AWAY from ALS as do the pins and needles and bladder issues

Clearly you have sonething going on. I hope your doctors figure it out!
