Here goes about a year ago was giving als diagnosed by northwestern hospital in Chicago by neurologist department not much progression ran a few more test spinal bulged atrophy aka Kennedy disease not much better just curious they made it seem like no big deal have anyone ever heard of this happening and why wouldn't the test for this before it pisses me off

The EMG picture for both can be identical, depending on what is tested, so it's not that surprising. And Kennedy is more rare, so people don't jump into that dx, though there is a genetic test if it's suspected. The good news is that treatment has shown some possibilities and it progresses more slowly.
