So I am 24 years old and a female. I have Addison's disease and hypothyroidism. I'm a little freaked out. I've had minor twitching for a while now and it has gotten worse in the past week. My face went stiff yesterday and this morning I woke up shaking (like I was cold, but when I covered up it didn't help). I've been told this could be anxiety but I don't know how to tell the difference. I have some weakness but I'm not sure if that's because I haven't really been sleeping. Please help. I have a neurologist appointment in 2 months but that is so long to wait.

Thyroid dysfunction can cause the issues you describe. Rather than considering this neurological, I would see your endo -- your dosage may need adjustment. Hydration and nutrition are other things to look at.

Best,
Laurie
