Thanks to the extreme helpful Moderators like Nikkie, Lourie,Mike
Request to nIkkie to merge this new thread with my old one last posted 26/02/2016

My neurological problem is now 14 months old , still fasciculation in wholebody going on

Now The fasciculation persists for several hours relentlessly in one spot.My left upper eye lid twitched continuously for three months and then stopped . when i have blink of lid the twitching starts.

In recent days my muscles looks smaller ,loosed it's tone ,

I am still working , Functional, Riding Bike, Driving , but could not perform Jogging & exercise much . my limbs are now supporting they are giving up.

From your information & knowledge in this way ever ALS onsets. is there requirement to evaluate by neuro-muscular specialist, which is very expensive for me as there is no Insurance facility here in India .

please guide, advise me generously

Hi, Sabby, I am not going to merge with your last thread because it was several months ago and we do not reopen closed threads generally. But if someone wants to read your other posts, it is easy to do so by clicking on your username.

I'm not reading anything that would suggest that another specialist evaluation is warranted. Are you still taking the vitamin D? Have you consulted a specialist in re your obvious anxiety, to see if addressing that might improve your symptoms? Also, there are medications that can help with eye twitching. I think what I am saying is that I would focus on your symptoms at this point.

Best,
Laurie

Twitching means NOTHING.

If you follow this site, surely you have heard us say this over and over, let alone the sticky post titled READ BEFORE POSTING makes that clear. Have you read that one? If you have, maybe give it another close read over - it's our official position.

My husband was already dead in the time frame you have continued working , Functional, Riding Bike, Driving.

Time to look elsewhere, you do not report a single symptom of ALS I am so happy to tell you sincerely.

Thanks Tillie

Your positive response is giving us reduce the fear , but although myself is functional

I could not run much , my reflexes are also brisk , earlier neuro examined and mentioned hypereflexia, my muscle tone is flacid now Limbs are looks thiner

Elbow joints are almost sagging skin only

But the twitching days are off & On , recently facing more twitching to a specific area

I suggest you read the post at the top of this forum section titled READ BEFORE POSTING.

You describe all these 'feeling's. That is NOT ALS. ALS is a disease where the motor neurones in the brain die and the muscles stop receiving the signals. You don't feel any different.

You are not failing to do anything. Testing yourself is pointless, you can't do that.

You do need to go back to your doctor and explain your anxiety over ALS and get help. We can't help except to say you don't describe ALS, your onset is not ALS.

We need to give our support to people with ALS, we have answered you, please accept that. All the best.

Thanks Tillie

I go on strength test as the twiching is continuing ,Weakness whether perceived or True , I could not recognize

Thanks once again clearing my anxiety

Sabby

Sabby, many smart people have told you that you do not describe ALS. You must leave now.

Any more questions must go to your doctor. Time to go.
