Hi guys. I have had 2 huge lesions in my spine. I have been reduced by plasma exchange twice. I have tested positive for anti body receptor glycine and my question is in all will lesions form and cause rapid paralysis needing a plasma rescue?
Thanks laura

Hi I am sorry you are dealing with this and wish you only the best.

However, this is a completely different process than ALS and we are not doctors let alone specialists in that area. Please talk to your doctors as they are your best resource for information

Thanks for responding. U mean in Als u don't have massive attacks and recover n so on back n forth? I know ur not drsxxx I get so frustrated trying to find out info. In so much pain in my legs hate it.

Laura,

No ALS doesn't go back and forth.

Your issue has nothing to do with ALS. Which is good.

Good luck, good bye.

Correct. It is a completely different disease process than yours. We become progressively paralyzed as the disease spreads through our bodies and we never get better. There is no real treatment for ALS- even temporary. Again sorry but this is not a place that can help answer your questions
