I'm back as my symptoms are progressing. I'm really scared, it's becoming difficult to use my thumbs and my index fingers, clinically weak. (Left and, right). Clumsy, twitching, slow, achy. Clear atrophy (smooth skin) with dents on both side between index and thumb. I keep missing certain keypads when using my phone. All this clearly interfering with my everyday life. Should I get a second opinion? Should I try pushing for a third emg? Why does all this push away from als?

Vera, please review the 29 responses we've given you, where our experts have explained to you why we don't believe you have ALS.

Specialist doctors with high tech methods and machines have cleared you of ALS. If you don't believe them, take it up with them.

You're wasting your time obsessing on a disease you don't have, when you could be helping your doctors investigate what you might have.

If you're unable to let go of ALS in your mind, please see a therapist.
