Early foot drop?

A little backstory, I've been twitching in my foot arch for 10 months and body wide twitching a little over a year. I've been to a GP and a neuro. The GP just tells me it's anxiety, the neuro did an exam and said it was not ALS and did not order an emg. Is there a warning sign for foot drop? I can heel walk and stand on 1 foot. But when I walk my right foot feels like it's just not taking off right, could this be the start of foot drop. Just looking for some friendly advice, before I spend the money and order an emg myself.

Twitching means nothing. Everyone twitches.

No that does not sound like foot drop. My second symptom was foot drop.
