Anyone heard of brachial mnd. Twitching started in Lt arm fall 2014. Neurologists diagnosed mnd Aug 15. Seeing specialist at Dartmouth in NH Oct 15. Twitching in rt arm early 2016 or late 2015. Lt arm 90% gone in streangh. Had ncs and emg in 6/15. Problems with Lt arm and leg. 47 yrs old hiked 4 mls to check cameras in woods today. Legs get tired more now. Afraid of other arm. How to tell my kids. When? Getting into a study at hospital hopefully soon. O DS looking at college next year. ?????

There is a flail arm variant of ALS, where the arms go first, but that doesn't sound like your description. There is also brachial plexopathy, but that wouldn't involve the legs and is not an MND. Can you post the EMG rpt? What is the ICD code on your discharge form? A second opinion is always advised -- is that what Dartmouth is?

Dartmouth is 2 nd opinion. Taking rilazole el serine and lutmax. As well as other supplements
