Dear all,
I am hear seeking your advice (so far i have not been diagnosed with ALS).
Shortly to my story.
It all started with tigh twitches in october 2015- this twitches then spread over the whole Body (still today); furthermore i have symmetrical muscle wasting (neck, hands, arms, thighs, feet, also thenar muscles)
I had EMG,Ncv and mEP in Feb, with no signs of MND- and with that i am no left alone.
The atrophies and twitching continues, but the neuro Prof. Didnt look like to much interested in my muscle loss?
What to do? I am scared that this could still be ALS but is not (yet) detetable...
and what should i do with the atrophies (so far no clinical
I am very glad for any kind of hint/answers
Thanks to all of you!
Patrick

Do you have a diagnosis of something?

Atrophy can be from many diseases, not only ALS.
EMG will find ALS before you can see ALS symptoms.

Get a second opinion from a neurologist who knows MND.
