Hello everyone!

I'm a 15-year-old male and recently I've been worried if I have ALS. My symptoms started about 2 weeks ago when I felt my left hamstring was twitching throughout that whole day, but stopped. However, just the other day I felt that same hamstring feel weak, but has recently healed. I'm not sure if I'm just worried too much about it or not, but I feel like my brain is tricking me into thinking I have ALS. I thought of how my bulbar muscles were ok, but when I said something out loud, lazily, I immediately thought I had slurred speech. I've also had these weird feelings in my firearms and biceps, but habeng had ANY weakness in the muscles. I just want to hear from people on whether or not I should see a doctor.

I guarantee that you DO NOT have ALS.

Sounds like something is stressing you, maybe at school. Talk to your parents.

Honestly, I don't think you have anything wrong with you except you're nervous.

Bulbar is a region in the brain, not a set of muscles.

As Mike said, no ALS.

Definitely see a doctor, but to address your health anxiety.
