I recently saw another neuro. at the time of my EMG/NCV, I was unaware of which part of the test was was which. And it turns out that the Performing physician only did the emg on the inner and outer muscles of my left thumb. And did not do the EMG on my left leg which the neurologist now has noted the Digitorum Brevis Muscle on my left foot is atrophied, as well as along the top of my ankle. Only NCS which noted " isolated peronial damage". How reliable is this to be trusted that it is not a false negative? The neuro will not perform another EMG.
