Hi Everyone
MY symptoms are getting worse:
Hoarse Voice (very significantly)
Trouble swallowing
Face and neck stiff
Faciculation widespread
Fatigue body (Right part)
Pain localized in right foot

I have an appointement for an emg the 23th of January.

Is there Another possible diagnostic than als including hoarse Voice, facics and progressive weakness?

Thank you

Let us know how your EMG goes on the 23rd. That will give you answers. Stiffness and pain points away from ALS (except for PALS in the last stages). Same with fatigue - that usually happens late in progression. Weakness - usually happens in later progression after muscles atrophy and lose their strength. Hoarse voice? My husband has bulbar onset ALS, his voice was never hoarse, he lost the ability to talk because his tongue stopped working. Widespread facics? Again, at onset it's usually in one isolated area. I'm just giving you examples based on my experience with my husband. I doubt you have ALS. Good luck!
