Have you read the stickies? All of them?
Have you seen your doctor? If not we will tell you to do so. Please skip this step
If yes to above, consider what the doctor told you. If you were given another diagnosis or told you absolutely do not have ALS frankly you do not belong here
We are not going to tell you your doctor was wrong. They saw you. We have not. At most we will say get a second opinion. You can do that without our telling you
Have you already asked the question or a close variant? Don't ask it again. Our answers are not going to change
If you have an open thread don't start another one. Keeping everything together helps us help you. It is hard for some of us to go from thread to thread
Ready to post now? Please take time to organize your thoughts present your concern concisely but include whatever your concern is. The oh and I also have x posts are counterproductive and make you appear anxious
Remember also we are limited by our disease. Many are typing with their eyes or a finger or a toe. It is hard to reply and hard to scroll through a novel.
Now if you are going through the diagnostic process and a doctor has put ALS or another MND on the table as a viable diagnosis we are here to support you. We have all been there. It is a horrible time and we want to help you
Thank you
PS tiny hint. If you title a thread anything like I am sure this is ALS it sets the wrong tone
