Exclamation the anxiety is taking over my life

Okay to begin I to begin with I am a 24 year old male. My symptoms started a month ago with a strange feeling in my left leg. It felt as if i was having poor circulation. Well I didnt think anything of it but for the past 3 weeks I began to have muscle twitches all over my body. The majority has been in my left leg. Most last only a few seconds but I have them all day. Well now im having cramps in my feet and calf. Ive found out about als a few weeks ago and the anxiety has literally changed me. I quit one of my jobs and I dont want to leave the house. I practically forced a nuerologist to see me. I have to wait a month before I can have an emg. I dont know what to do the fear is overwhelming. The neuro did say I have hyperreflexia which is a zymptom of als. I do not have any weakness

It begs the question that if indeed you are diagnosed are just going to curl up in a ball? If you are starting into als this is not a common set of first signs...However an anxiety disorder and it's treatment should be your immediate focus. You CANNOT let yourself go down this road. Get some immediate mental help.

Ditto what Mediasmart stated... Seek mental health NOW. Some people can take a couple of years of progression and testing to reach a diagnosis of ALS, you don't want to go a London time with the extreme levels of anxiety you are having for months or years. See a psychiatrist, get medicated, then start seeing neurologists and getting tested for your symptoms.

Please. i wanna say so much stuff to you, but i cant because i would have been banned for bad behaviour. I got BIG symptoms, and people wont help me because they Think i am like you. Just get help, and Think Before you post on a forum like this.. Read on google? Hyper reflexia is something that some people just lives with whole their Life. We are all diffrent.. AND hyper reflexia is VERY common with anxiety periods because of horomone balances.... Live on with your life. You dont have ALS.... !%#/...

Weakness is the primary symptom of ALS.
Whatever you have sounds nothing like ALS.
