So I was wondering about the pins and needles feeling...

Some (websites) say: you will never have this in MND

Others say: it can be a first sign of MND.

What is true?

Are there any with MND diagnose who did experience pins & needles?

i have neuropathy and that is pins and needles to me. my als stuff doesn't feel remotely like neuropathy. not even in the same ballpark. but that is me, not thee.

So you have neuropathie and MND? Is that related or not? And why do you have neuropathie? Did you have this long before the MND started?

Because I have no diagnoses yet, but I do have neuropathie-like feelings, except for tingling. I do have pins & needles, nervepain etc.

I have fasiculations widespread and jerks, but I don't have cramps.

I have increase of salivation and sometimes loss of swallow reflex, but I don't have tongue atrofie or slurred speech.

So, what is wrong with me?

My EMG is scheduled for half Januari.

i'm not a doctor so won't even remotely venture an opinion as to what is wrong.

i have neuropathy from type 2 diabetes. it produced a mound of data during EMG testing and other early exams that potentially clouded the ALS considerations.

Neuropathiy hides other symptons and it takes specialists to sort through it.
