My husband’s biopsy came back today and the neurologist is 90% sure that he has Inclusion body myositis (IBM). I’m not sure how to feel. We are happy that it’s not ALS but IBM is still a terrible disease. We are going home this weekend to tell his parents. We are going to Washington University/Barns Jewish for a second option as recommended by our neurologist. We are waiting for the neurologist’s office to set up the appointment. No cure, and little treatment. I don’t know what else to say….
