Default CAn anyone shed some lights..thankyou

hello,

Im new Here,

Not sure if its the right place for me

But I likemost of you have had swallowing problem for a long time now.

Recently done a endoscopy and colonoscopy and was told IBS lactose intolerant. Also anxiety and depression and now hyperthyroid wich i take meds for but apparently has nothing to do with my throat problem

i have tried several meds and therapys.

When i swallow i hear all these noises like air and like theres rocks inmy throat or something

I cant eat hard foods and meat and chicken and sometimes even hard vegies. im so depressed..and malnutritioned..what do i do and wat and not feel like this..and is there any others specialists anyone can recommend or anything they know...or have tried..

Alot of burping happens as well..

MY next place to visit is the Swallow centre that monitor ur swallowing..which my GP is not really fidning useful''It sbeen 6 yrs..

if its all anxiety and depression and stress then y dont any of the treatments and meds work..

im so confused.. I just want my life bACK AND EAT,

THANKYOU

the fact that you're hearing when you're swallowing can actually be something from your ears, believe it or not. It's not ALS--it just doesn't do that

Check out Achalasia. I've had two friends that have it. One had a really severe case.

I second Brooksea... it sounds like an esophageal problem. They commonly cause trouble swallowing, plus the things you already mentioned. Have you had an esophageal manometry?
