Hi,

I searched the forum before posting this to confirm it hadn't been discussed already, and I didn't find much, so here we go. Personally, I always find hope in discovering other things -- however remote or rare -- that could explain my symptoms as I work toward a diagnosis, and I figure others might find benefit as well. This is in no way intended as medical advice nor do I claim to have any expertise on this matter; it's just something I found interesting and possibly relevant.

While the textbook definition of this condition may not sound very related to ALS / MND, here are three cases that struck me as very similar, at least on a superficial level. Though it isn't known to specifically affect cranial muscles, several cases describe dysphagia and facial weakness. I also read of respiratory problems as well.
