Hi guys. I've been worried about ALS for, oh, about 8 months now. It started with the twitching. Got over that. Months later I found out about BFS and made me feel better, and now I am worried I have wasting.
See, I'm 19 years old so this disease is especially scary to me. I work out frequently andeverything seems ago apart fromthat 'tired' feeling you get after you do a certain amount of reps/sets, etc. I can still do pushups and lift . I did it a couple days ago. 25 pushups, 90 reps of pectoral workouts and 60 flys so I don't think I'm weak.
However, months ago I noticed that (or what it seemed to me) my right pectoral was smaller than the left. Obviously I panicked. I would guess that was because I hadn't worked out for months though, but I wondered why my left didn't look like that either. So here I am today, and the reason I am posting this. This morning I got a very noticeable twitch on my right chest side. Lasted for a minute or two and as of writing this it's still doing it. But the twitches come and go, and this is the first time it's twitched on this side ever.
Is it because I'm really sore? I've gotten fascics after working out before but what worries me the most is my perception that my right side is wasted and now it's fasciculating. I heard that ALS fascics start only after weakness and atrophy and I'm scared I have atrophy. Please help guys, I'm a wreck.
