Happy to hear that your EMG went well! I still think it is amazing that you were able to get your testing done so quickly. I am being sent to WVU next for a new LP and not entirely sure what else if anything they will be testing. Not sure when that appointment will be. Seems like it takes two or three months to get in for much of anything here. Once again, happy to hear it! That's about the best Christmas present I can think of for you and your family.

Wonderful news! What I'd expected you would receive, but, none the less, still great.

I hope you're able to get some treatment that helps. Consider adding benecalorie to protein shakes, buying Ensure, etc, to keep your calorie count up. You should focus on not losing anymore weight.

For those (other than Flashter) who read this. I am encouraged to note that he has not been back onto the forum since a little over an hour from when he posted his fantastic news. Oftentimes after a forum member who is worried they have ALS receives the good news, they may not post much, or any at all after that, but I'll see them online frequently. Which is one of worst things they can do to help conquer their anxiety ... They will silently be here with us, reading new posts, searching through old posts. etc. As much as I think everyone who conducts themselves in an appropriate manner should be welcomed, it is to an anxiety ridden person's detriment to hang out here. And by anxiety, I mean anxious about their symptoms being caused by ALS, not to imply that their symptoms are caused by anxiety.
