First. My english is bad, iam puertorican but pls try to understand this.
I have fasciculations for almost 8 years, body widespread, all my muscles has been twitching for almost 8 years. Iam 22 years old male. Iam almost convinced that i have ALS,Iam not in panic with this als thing anymore, because too many years living scared and in suffering make me get used to this. I have many symptoms related to my nervous system. But i dont have weakness yet. 11 months ago i started to have pain and paresthesia in my tongue. No numbness in the tongue. No problem swallowing or speech problems. No atrophy. (but i think i have atrophy in my upper mouth lips).
What i have is pain almost 24/7 in my tongue, 3 months after the pain started in the tongue, my tongue started to have INVOLUNTARY MOVEMENTS(NOT FASCICULATIONS) when I try to relax or put at rest my tongue it start to move in any direction, sometimes the strong of the involuntary movements is so powerful that i bleed. I googled involuntary movements of tongue and what i found was "dystonia". But as far i know, dystonia dont come with parestesia and constant pain (burning sensations most of the time)
I really need to know if some als patients has ever have this, INVOLUNTARY MOVEMENTS 24/7 WITH NO SPEECH PROBLEMS. Iam not looking for support here . I only need to know if this is possible in a motor neuron disease. If u know something about this please post or u can PM me.
I know how hard is to understand a poor english like this.
