Hello all,
I've got a very odd constellation of symptoms and I'm not sure what to make of them.
It started a couple months back when it was feeling odd for me to walk. I would walk for a while and all of a sudden i got an urge to flex my knee to pop it. Once I did this (sometimes there was a pop other times there was not), it felt a little easier to walk. I'd also been having NEW twitching sensations (fasciculations) ALL over my body (arms, legs, feet, even my chest and eye lid)
fast forward to about a month ago, when almost out of the blue, my left knee started feeling weird. it was an odd DULL kind of pain that spread down through my leg and also started hurting my ankles. All the while it was feeling more and more weird walking.
Just last week, my pinky on the left hand started feeling a little weird. It is not weak (I can still type with it fine) and it doesnt hurt or fall asleep, it just feels a little stiff and I feel like it's just hanging on my hand (where-as the pinky on my right hand feels normal). I also started getting almost electric shock like feelings on the lateral part of my left foot when I extended my leg all the way and moved my foot around.
Just recently, I'm finding it a little weird to talk. It feels like there's a lump in my throat and it feels as though my vocal muscles are getting tired after I use them for some time.
Im otherwise healthy (no chronic diseases/not overweight), Im a male, and Im in my 20's. I just feel terrified that these are the early signs of ALS. I cant see a doctor in the near future due to financial difficulties.
