Hi,
I have a few mild symptoms and I was wondering if I have ALS. First, I keep banging into things. I know falling down is a symptom, and I do not have that, but banging is the same idea in that I lose my balance. Today, I banged the blowdryer into my head while I was using it, and later lost balance and banged into the corner of the wall. Also, today while eating a sandwich I noticed how difficult it was to chew it. Could these be early symptoms of ALS? Also, I occasionally slur words and lose my breath, but these do not happen often. None of these symptoms are major. What is your take? I am a 14 year old male, if that helps.

Thank you for the help!

You can definitely put ALS out of your mind. None of those symptoms are even remotely ALS.

You don't have ALS. 14 year old kids from tunisia, canada,UK almost never get it.

AL.

You should go to the dr and get checked it sounds like your equlibriam is off....

1. Since you are 14. Talk to your parents.
2. Have them make an appointment to see your Doctor.
3. What you are describing at least to me is not als.

But get it checked out.

Sounds like you should be going to the doctor to get it checked out. But, Does NOT sound like ALS...

Go to the doctor.
