Over the past couple of years I have been dealing with the following:

April 2004 TMJ Original issue
June 2006 TMJ "Cured"
June 2008 Tingling in hands and feet
June 2008 Weakness in right hand
July 2008 Leg cramping several times a week
October 2008 Fell down stairs and broke toe
December 2008 Right Eye lid twitching
December 2008 Had cyst removed from right eyelid.
May 2009 trouble sleeping
June 2009 Memory loss - (when I noticed - 1 year prior others noticed)
June 2009 Tingling in hands and feet - slowly becomes numbness, lasts about 5-7 min then returns to just tingling of palms and soles, usually just one hand or one foot becomes numb while the others stay tingling.
August 2009 TMJ Returned
September 2009 Sensitivity to hot water
November 2009 Asthma acting up - use of rescue inhaler 3-4 times a day
December 2009 Left leg cramping 3-4 times a day - not tight to touch, just painful
January 2010 Left eye lid twitching
January 2010 Right ankle giving out
January 2010 Knot in back of throat - worse when laying down

In 2008 I was diagnoised with Peripheral neuropathy and muscle weakness. The docs have ruled out MS and lime disease, both MRIs are fine only two small spots that they say is nothing. I have just found out that my Father has been diagnoised with ALS and is using a walker. Just wondering if ALS will explain everything that no one else can seem to? I have an appointment with the neurologist on the 9th of Feb, taking my list with. Just wondering what others think.

The sensory issues would point away from ALS I am pretty sure. Sounds like a lot of those symptoms are independent of anything neuromuscular, but maybe not.

I would hang your hat on the neuropathy. Nailing those down with a firm diagnosis can be very difficult as well. If you have not seen a nm specialist, I would recommend getting a referral to one.

Sorry about your Dad. Best of luck to you. You sound pretty rational, and I understand your concern, but the docs can get it sorted out eventually. Sometimes a long frustrating process I know. Again, best wishes.
