Thick mucous?

Any tips for thick mucous, moms starting to have an issue with it now.

This has been discussed before, and not too long ago ...

Pineapple juice and Alka Seltzer were two, I think.

The suction machine and cough assist were what I had to use for mom to clear it out.

That product helped me the most, then Mucinex, either one we put in me feeding tube. Chewable Papaya Enzymes helped also, I let them melt under me tongue.

The mucus can be brutal. I can only move my eyes, but the mucus is the worst part of als to me.

Agreed, those are necessary

Pineapple, papaya, and mango helped my husband. Put them in smoothies I made for him. As pat says, enzymes are also available that easily dissolve

Max used to recommend Mucinex twice daily. From his suggestion I started using it on days that I am having mucous issues. It really does help me and I will probably be adding it to my daily regimen soon.
