Seroquel was the problem..

Took mom off of Seroquel and she did not cry the next day or since. Who knew? Just happened to read about it in passing...

OMG Gil, I'm so glad you worked that out, but so sad that her doctors didn't pin it far earlier.

I was on Seroquel before. Yep, it can definitely do that. It is probally not a issue with ALS patients but if a person takes it they will put on massive ammount of weight. I put on 20 on it. Luckily, I was able to lose it again. Most people gain at least 50 1bs taking it. It works well for bipolar patients but for regular depression it's not so great.
