I have noticed now when I am feeding my sister that for some reason I noticed that she is jutting her lower jaw out. Have any caregivers run across this with their PALS? I was wondering if it may not be a way for her to compensate for breathing/swallowing. I keep asking her if she wants the concentrator on her. She will use it for a bit but then want it off. I had RT people get a concentrator that some moisture can be added to what she is breathing in. I know when she was in the hospital before and they had oxygen on her that this was a reason that she wanted it off. She said it was drying her nose out too much back then.

Point is moot now. Closing this thread
