Those are great booklets! Thanks for the link! I'm going to print them out!

Wish the ALSA here in the states would get their act together and acknowledge that children are involved with this disease, not just adults.

The ALS Society of Canada is pretty good.

For those who didn't know, this forum began as a support forum on the ALS Society of Canada website. Then, in early 2006, ALSSC decided they could no longer host the forum anymore. That was a dark day. But upon site owner David's initiative, with the help of people like Al, the forum was saved! And now it is an international phenomenon.
