Dear caregivers and families of PALS-
My name is Jodi and I lost my husband Kevin O'Donnell to ALS in 2001. He was amazing and I miss him dearly.
Our daughter Alina was only 2 when Kevin was diagnosed and she was 8 when he passed. We had a large support group of family and friends, thank God, but years later, I am still thinking about the children of patients.
There is very little available to support the children of Pals- especially younger children and so I have initiated a non-profit called Hope Loves Company. I have JUST started and need to get the word out and look for sponsors. My goals are to:
provide books and resources
provide family day
provide a fun day out for the children
provide emotional support- support group of peers
I need some feedback as to who may be willing to contribute to this non-profit and what young famlies needs for their children.
