I am plagued with what ifs..

What if my pals wants a vent and they refuse her? What if I die first? How will my kids react? Will my husband be able to cope? Will my pals be OK? What if our financial situation changes and we are no longer able to afford the care we're currently able to manage? What if this and what if that? UGGH

I hear ya. All I can suggest is just live in the right now.
I get cases of overwhelming what ifs... but ive found its getting easier as more time goes by
I had to learn to let a lot of things go that I normally wouldnt because its tedious work being a CALS.
and we cant take on everything at once, though we often do.
Hang in there... and I hope it gets better.

Mandolyn.. .can you maybe get some counselling for yourself? Being a CALS is a tough road... don't try to go it alone!
