Cleaning a Suction Machine

I know how to clean the basic machine, but what solution do you guys use for the tubing?

All I ever do is run hot water through the tubing every day. I disconnect the tubing and run the water through the tubing backwards and out through the suction wand. Something else that I learned from Kelly is to put a cap ful of mouthwash into the reservoir after cleaning to make it smell less bad.

thats all we do too. after each use, we suction up some warm water to clear out the yankour (sp) and tubing. If it gets too nasty, it may be time to replace the tubing.

Hey, I used to add a small amount of white vinegar to warm water and soak Greg's tubes in that. Hope this helps!

denture cleaning tabs disolved in warm water. That is what our resp therapist said to do. They are anti bacterial. Get the generic kind.

After hot water, we suck some Scope mouth was through the tube, and it kills the germs, and keeps it smelling nice!
