Has anyone done a home renovation thru the VA?

We have been approved for a home modification. Does anyone know the procedure? The regional guy has been out to look at the house. What comes next?

My mom and dad are in the midst of this process as I type this. My mom's not a member on the forum but I've asked her to type up a response to your question and I'll post it for her. I can tell you that it is taking significantly longer than we'd hoped to get everything approved.

You have to get the contractor approved and the plans approved before they will start on anything. I'll add more once Mom gives me a run down of what they've had to submit.
