Hi,
We have an Atmos Air 9000 with Self Ajusting Technology bed on loan from ALS Association and I have no idea how it works. It has an electric pump that pumps it up, and it is supposed to be "self adjusting" but how the heck does it work? Do I need to keep the pump running? Or do I pump it up every day? Or...?

Any advice anyone has would be GREATLY appreciated.

THANKS!
Lisa

I don't know this bed but with mine which is an alternating pressure mattress the pump keeps running. I'm assuming that the self adjusting means it will regulate the pressure in the mattress based on patient weight. I would also assume you can set it for constant or static pressure and alternating pressure which is used to help prevent bed sores. If you can't figure it out post some pictures of the controls and I might be able to help.

I just got an accu turn mattress from ALS Ont. Had it 3 nights. No manual so sent an email to maker. Hopefully hear back on Mon.
