Hey there. My husband just called me after a doctor visit and said they want to do surgery on his leg again. This Friday. He has been falling a lot- about 4 times this weekend, his legs are just getting weaker and he keeps going down.
He did have an injury about a month ago when he fell in a drain hole and now they say the tendons are damaged and they want to do surgery.
My question is , will it heal if the muscles are deteriorating and when we go to Mayo next week will this throw off the testing as this is his worst leg of the two? I hate to see him go through another surgery if it won't do any good plus he had a really hard time coming out of the anesthesia the last time he went under- they had to revive him. The doctors don't know I know this but they leave the charts out and I used to be a veterinary technician so i do know my medical terminology and how to read their abbreviations.
Just looking for a little advice and really don't want my big red headed Norwegian to have to go through more pain then not get the results he is expecting afterwards.:?
