there won't be a nativity scene in Washington d.c. this year

the supreme court ruled there can't be a nativity scene on capital hill this Christmas season.

this isn't for any religious reason.

they simply couldn't find three wise men in the nation's capital.

the search for a virgin continues.

there was no shortage, however, in finding enough asses to fill the stable.

I thanked that one although I am not quite aware of the local situation but I think the joke can be adapted to many cities around the globe
 
yep Marie, from Australia the joke worked perfectly. I didn't understand a word of the political landscape reply - but show me 3 wise men in one place anywhere in the world and I'm moving there! :lol:
