A 16 year old girl is staying with her grandmother for the summer.
The girl is about to go out with her friends one evening. She comes down the stairs wearing a tight T-shirt and no bra.
Grandma sees this and remarks, “Dear, don't you think you should wear something a little more modest?”
“Oh Grandma,” replied the teen, “you have to show off your rose buds while you still can.”
A couple nights later, the girl is going out with another group of friends. Again, she comes down the stairs scantily clad in a tight T-shirt but no bra.
Grandma is shocked and again advises the teen to cover up a little more. The girl’s response is the same: “Grandma, you have to show off your rose buds while you still can.”
The next night, the grandmother is going to hit the town. She comes down the stairs wearing a sheer blouse with no bra.
The teen is horrified. “Grandma, you can’t go out like that. Please cover up a little better.”
“But dear,” replied the grandma, “if you can show off your rose buds, I can display my hanging baskets.”
