Default Scratch off...

Every Sunday a lady would put a $10 dollar Scratch Off LotteryTticket in the collection basket. After several weeks the pastor, from the pulpit, got to see the lady doing it as the collection basket was being passed around.

At the end of the service he quickly walked out to the door with his young assistant to greet the members leaving.

As the lady was going by he called her over to side.

He told her very kindly that her giving a Lottery Ticket really wasn't appropriate and the church did not condone gambling.

She said, "Ok, I'll give the proper tithing."

But then young assistant quickly spoke up adding...

"All the ones he scratched were losers."

Hmmm...
