This smart country boy won a scholarship to Harvard. Proper English language was not his best subject. So, on his first day on campus, not knowing where practically anything is located, he unfortunately stopped a senior upper classman and asked,

“Excuse me, can you tell me where the library is…?”

The senior upper classman says,

“We, at Harvard, do not answer questions that end in a dangling participle.”

The country boy thinks for a moment and says,

“Ok, can you tell me where the library is… A$$hole!”
