Good morning, all!
The wind has been trying to blow my little house down all night, but it hasn't succeeded yet! We're well north of the terrible tornado action and just south of the blizzard action so I'm counting my blessings this morning. I have the generator ready to go, but hoping we don't need it.
Mom, Dad, son and daughter all here this morning so guess I'm going to haul my lazy backside out of bed and fix breakfast. You're all welcome to join us!. Pancakes, sausage, kiwi, and omelets made to order on the menu today. Someone will have to bring tea - I'm out!

I love pancakes and waffles. Scrapple and sausage too, don't tell me what in it though. I just got done watching a info commerical about a handy green book on homemade cleaners ect... You know how tennis shoes stink, (Boys) it said put them in the freezer overnight, the smell wish be gone. Store popcorn in the freezer and every kerrel will pop. Put fabric sheets in your pocket and mosquitos will stay away, use tennis balls instead of dryer balls. Put a towel in the dryer it will dry your clothes faster. Use spray starch on new tennis shoes, seals pours so they are easier to clean. Spray your walls with spray starch where kids touch and there will never be any finger prints. Jeans faded, put vinager or Black pepper in wash to bring back color. Vinager softens cloths like fabric sheets. Clean the black off of the bottom of copper pots with a half of lemon. Put clear Jellotin in rinse cycle of sheer curtains and you won't have to iron they. Coke a Cola cleans a toilet better then cleaner. Put sugar or sprite in fresh flowers makes them last longer. Ants in dogs food, take a piece of chalk and draw a circle around the dog food bowl. Cell phone got wet, put it in a seal=a=meal with rice overnight. Dust with dryer sheets, sucks the dust in and don't spread it. Thats all I can remember for now, kinda proud I could remember all these, I am patting myself on the back here.. LOL

Wow, Tammy, I think you should come over and demonstrate all of those techniques for me... hehehehhe, and then my house will be a lot cleaner... though I still don't like the smell of vinegar. Pour baking soda down a stinky drain and add baking soda... make sure your kids are there to be impressed.
It's rainy here, and warm for March, but how the (#&(&(*#& am I supposed to get down the ramp through the additional inch of slushy snow to my van to help my kids sell the pancake breakfast tickets? Oh uck uck uck! ooey ooey ooey!

Happy Saturday! Woohoo! the sun is shining and I am looking forward to not having to do anything or be anywhere this weekend. Of course, that means chores. But, at least I get to do them on my terms.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Love and light
Meg

Wow, Tammy, I feel so educated - thank you! Now, if I only had time to clean and do laundry, lol.
Worked outside for hours this morning. Gave up when it started hailing. Icing the old elbow for a few minutes now and checking in here.
OK, as long as we're sharing helpful tips, here's mine... baking soda cleans up permanent marker (and almost any other stain) from countertops. Maybe you all already know that, but I was so excited to discover it a few years ago. Yes, I buy baking soda in bulk now
And a question... I seem to have lost some PMs that I hadn't replied to yet. They came in last week while I was a bit underwater and when I went to look for them today, they were gone. Any thoughts on how I messed that up?
Thanks.

Hey Aly, yeah I understand....Aotearoa, she is still here waiting on you and will be whenever you get home, try and enjoy the rest of your holiday. Hockey is good, sort of like rugby on ice with sticks and no referee. Think of it as what would happen after the haka, lol. If it helps any "long white cloud" doesn't even come close this week, up your way, heck the whole country really. Kel, next week has got to be better, glad to read you are off to a good start! This week Liz will get off the roller coaster. I just know it. Hang in there Liz, ruff times. Susan, sorry about your wee dog, old age sucks even when you are a dog, hope they can offer some help. Woohoo Meg, free Saturday! Great tips Tammy, thanks, I'm off to try a few. Waving just to you Diane.

Great and handy info Tammy Pie! Thanks! A lazy day in The land of Love today. It's noon:55 and I just got my first cuppa and am still in Jammie's! Shame on sluggy me! I'll get moving in a few minutes. Nice and sunny today. Don't know what the temp is though.
Hugs to our traveller Aly! Come home! I miss Dorothy so come home Dorothy! Hi Sally, Dana, Kel, Joni, Helen, Sharlene,Meg, Susan, Kel, and Di my Warrior Sister! Hugs to all of you!
Has anyone heard from Olly lately? I'm worried about her.
I did hear from Becky/Odiva and she's in Minnesota and struggling to adjust although she's tough and I'll bet she'll adjust just fine. Change is so hard and things are changing all the time. Prayers for Becky/Odiva!

Kel- If youve got something to say to me, then say it. Dont be all passive agressive about it. I, at least, had the respect to call you out on what I thought was wrong. But sure, you go ahead and continue to get folks to feel bad for you because of what I said to you.
You get enough attention yet?
